존나 헷갈려서 죽고싶은 Use to

나는 세상에서 현재완료가 제일 어려운줄알았다. 난 멍청이었어~ 영어는 그냥 다어렵다!!!! 

 

Used to + infinitive: to talk about habits or repeated actions in the past which we don't do in the present. We also use it to talk about states in the past which are no longer true.  그니까 습관이나 반복적으로 하던거, 또는 그런 상태 중에 지금은 안하는거! 

• I used to have long hair (but now I have short hair).

• He used to smoke (but now he doesn't smoke).

• They used to live in India (but now they live in Germany).

 

Watch out! With the negative and the question it's 'use' and not 'used': 질문이랑 부정은 d 떼라 

• Did you use to be a teacher?
• Did he use to study French?
• She didn't use to like chocolate, but she does now.
• I didn't use to want to have a nice house.

Note! With this 'used to' there is no verb 'be'. We CAN'T say 'I am used to have long hair'.

 

그리고 would 는 used to 랑 똑같은데 state verb에는 못씀!!!! be live have 머 이런거 상태는 암튼 ㄴㄴㄴㄴㄴㄴㄴㄴㄴㄴㄴㄴㄴㄴ다 이거에여

 

be used to + verb-ing (아님 명사들어가도됨) :  feel normal for us or things that we are accustomed to

이건 습관이아니라 익숙한거임 익숙한거! 

•I'm used to getting up early, so I don't mind doing it.
(= getting up early is normal for me, it's what I usually do).

•My little daughter is used to eating lunch at noon. So she was grumpy yesterday when we didn't eat until one.


Note that we make the negative or the question with the verb 'be' in the normal way. The 'used to' doesn't change:

•Lucy isn't used to staying up late, so she's very tired today.
•Are your children used to walking a lot?

 

get used to는 익숙해지고있다!하는 과정자체에 중점을 둘때 쓴다. 시점 자체는 be쓸때랑 똑같음
