전화영어숙제 : Do you like movies with a happy ending? or you prefer a sad ending?

나는 새드앤딩을 안좋아한다. 영화가 아무리 재밌어도 결말이 슬프면 나까지 슬픈 상태로 영화관을 나가야 하기 때문이다. 나는 공감능력이 매우 높은것 같다. 왜냐면 나는 영화를보면 딱히 슬픈 장면이 아니어도 등장인물의 감정이 슬플것이라는 생각을 하면 바로 같이 슬퍼져 버리기 때문이다. 

내가 가장 좋아하는 영화는 러브액추얼리고, 등장인물 모두가 행복해지기 때문이다. 물론 그냥 새드앤딩이냐, 해피앤딩이냐 보다는 영화 자체가 재미있어야 하기 때문에, 새드앤딩이어도그 영화 자체는 좋아할 수 있다. 새드앤딩임에도 내가 좋아하는 영화는 타이타닉이다. 남자 주인공과 이루어지진 않지만 영화의 스토리가 견고하고, 연출이 매우 맘에 든다. 그래서 결론은, 나는 해피앤딩을 더 선호하지만 그것이 내가 영화를 평가하는 기준이 되지는 않는다는 것이다. 

 

I don't like sad ending. No matter how fun the movie is, if the ending is sad, I have to leave the theater in a sad mood. I think my empathy is very high. Because when I see a movie, I feel sad right away If I think that the emotion of a character will be sad even it is not a sad scene. 
'Love actually' is my favorite film because all characters are happy in the end. Of course the movie's completeness or fun is more important than ending is sad or happy, I can like the movie even it has a sad ending. For example I like 'Titanic'. It's a sad ending, but the story is perfect and I like the production very much. So the bottom line is, I prefer happy ending, but that doesn't mean It is my standard to make a decision.
